Jillayne Gee, RD, menu author for Tone Tactics High Fiber Diet Menu Plan, considers a healthy diet is one that is built upon the principles of variety, moderation, calorie control, balance, and adequacy.  As a menu author, she incorporates these principles into her menus to help you achieve a healthy diet.  As a dietitian, most people are surprised when she tells them her favorite foods are pizza and ice cream. She rationalizes that perhaps people associate health as only eating “good” foods like fruits and vegetables and eliminating “bad” foods like soda pop and cookies. Throughout her undergraduate dietetics program at Brigham Young University and her post-graduate dietetics internship from Utah State University, she learned a healthy diet doesn’t mean you have to eliminate the “bad” foods but rather eat by the principles described above.  The DIY plan provides guidance if you are familiar with menu planning.  If you need more guidance in menu planning, perhaps the 14 Day or 30 Day High Fiber Menu Plan is for you!  These plan will be available in the near future.
